The Merrill Lynch Global Markets group is a premier provider of sales, trading, structuring and advisory services encompassing the full spectrum of debt and equity products to money managers, hedge funds, pension funds, endowments, financial institutions, governments and corporations around the world.

Our debt markets expertise covers interest rate, credit and asset-based products, liability management, foreign exchange, derivatives and other securities. Our Global Leveraged Finance group brings together all of our leveraged finance activities for both issuers and investors, including high-yield sales and trading, capital markets, origination and loan syndication. Our Global Principal Investments, Secured Financing and Real Estate Group, encompasses the firm's asset-based finance, principal investments, real estate finance, CMBS and ABS, as well as non-credit structured finance activities. In addition, the group offers a wide range of risk management solutions to clients around the world.

Our equity markets professionals provide a full range of equity and equity-linked sales and trading services, including sophisticated portfolio analytics and electronic trading. The group’s extensive prime brokerage services include transaction and portfolio financing, stock lending and clearing, settlement, reporting and custody.

Our Global Markets business has a major presence in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Pacific Rim, serving clients in virtually all countries.
